God must a allowed the media invention of Today, including peaceful online ministries… just as the TV-influenced church began turning self-justifying, accusative, and witch-watching — often focused on personal attacks, cult-like group turf guarding, and biased control.

At EORR Cross Body Unity, we simply remind and encourage leaders to get on the doctrinal study bigger Eternal Life huge ball. Yet we’re not reinventing the Christian Big Wheel..as it has already been done, but is now very morphed and even ministry is frustrating dysfunctional. We are in Apostle Paul’s “perilous last days ‘and many even in the church and “ministry” bear the fruit of 2 Timothy 3:1-8, I Timothy 6:5 (which is exactly why I train) Due to this I   train in Ephesians’ pure “community form,” built on the servant-leader principle of “no big I, no little yous.”

To stir the pot about the many people who no longer visitor or attend many modern modern are churches, we offer a  few EORR Cross Body Unity Ministry Fellowship, TD Slogans (minister prophetic signs):

ONLINE MINISTRY…..

With That Said: Let’s Review First Church Basic “Organic” Ministry:

This vision looks back to the First Church, where Ephesians 4 was lived out through teaching, role-modeling, and transformed community life — grounded in mutual submission in the fear of the Lord (Ephesians 5:21) among leaders, elders, families, and married male and female legally wed Bible submitted born again Christian couples. It was organic, without worldly hierarchy, big titles, or oppressive customs. It valued the function of the five-fold ministry — apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, teachers — alongside bishops and deacons, without using titles to dominate.

First Church, teaching, offices and leaders, most of the lay, top valued ‘relationship” first with God, then their families, then with the bigger prophetic, also pioneering are community”

The Very First Church vs. Turf Guarding

First Church pre Constantine Paul Philippians 2:12 command “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling…”

The apostolic First Church was never meant to be an “in crowd” “all one color, all one ministry style” one man or showbiz…network (also NOW  turf-guarding leaders) or self centric, passive or dominating …nor overly self-protective ministry groups. It was not run through the lens of Pharisee law, where salvation was weighed down by man-made regulations, nitpicking, and self-importance. Instead, the gospel was lived out in Spirit-led simplicity, where every believer was free to hear from God for themselves — to gather in fellowship or, at times, meet in smaller settings without fear of being “out of order.”

1. No one person or “one style of ministry group” was “over all the rest”
Authority was shared and functional, not centralized or political. Apostles, prophets, pastors, evangelists, and teachers were recognized for their service and calling, not for claiming superiority over others. Leadership was a stewardship, not a throne.

2. Freedom to follow God’s leading.
Each believer was free to worship, gather, and serve as the Holy Spirit led. Attending the house meetings or larger assemblies was not enforced by intimidation or the threat of being labeled rebellious. Participation flowed from love for Christ, not fear of man.

3. No “big I’s” and “little you’s.”
The early church had no celebrity pastors, no ministry caste system, and no people-pleasing politics. Every member was valued as a living stone in the spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5), and mutual submission (Ephesians 5:21) was the way of life.

4. A unified, edifying community.
Though diverse in gifts, the early believers worked as one body — elite privilege, favoritism, and division had no place. Priorities were not gifting, personal achievement, financial gain, physical appearance, congregation size, or fame.

Their priorities were:

  • Christ Himself as the center and head of the Church (Colossians 1:18)

  • Walking in holiness, humility, and love (Ephesians 4:1–3)

  • Building up the Body through Spirit-led teaching and service (Acts 2:42–47)

  • Caring for the poor, widows, and marginalized (Acts 6:1–7; James 1:27)

  • Advancing the gospel to every nation (Matthew 28:18–20)

KEY POINT:

Over time, in the 2nd–4th centuries, worldly systems from Rome, Greece, and Constantine’s influence replaced this model with hierarchy, orthodoxy, and repression — especially of women — while dismantling the cell-form, mutual submission, and “everyone is equal” mindset. But God’s priorities remain: valuing Him above titles, customs, human favoritism, or worldly ambition; honoring women equally with men; respecting every child; and fostering community care, free from competition, exploitation, defilement, or moral compromise in ministry.

This Cross Body Unity, T. D’Arcy call is not about control. I am not “OVER YOU” nor UNDER YOU, this an apostolic Pauline office (function) which is church to church style. Also I represent  the more diverse among us.

And I present no ‘autocratic dogma” just thought-provoking Selahs, for filling modern/historiacl Bible teaching gaps but  minus requiring no one to “authoritarian” submit” to me — and I do not submit to those seeking control. Like Paul (Galatians 1:1–2, Acts 17:17), this apostolic servant-leader vision works across the Body of Christ, both in marketplace and church, carrying the cross together in the love-walk spirit of the Philadelphia Church (Revelation 2) for the Last Days. (Note;: the Philadelphian love walk church “is the only church whose doors will never close”)

Teaching the Turf-Guarders: Ephesians 4 in Context

Ephesians 4 is one of the clearest blueprints for revival, yet it must known and valued, adhered to by the top office leadership — and it leaves no room for “competition, avarice, “respecter of persons’ celebrity or play time fantasy about being a Super Star in ministry.

This Scripture is NOT about false priorities, but about the LORD and HE DEMANDS. So this is boring and tame to the thrill seekers, even ones in the top grandest sr ministries. As this apostolic training does  value acquiring big income, class, social rank, or revered title ABOVE the eternal worth of a” soul.”

And early church Paul’s call is to create a Spirit-led, interdependent network (not a class conscious system,  famous name private bastien, nor a system or devout cult). Rather,, it is intended  to produce, reproduce and pass down a concept and “being”(organism, recognized harmony of a Christ bearing, also cross carrying daily area  Community”…. where every tribe, tongue, and culture works together to train, equip, and mature believers. Minus Big I’s and Little You’s” (“no respecter of persons in ministry” and the sign that bears witness to the ongoing wisdom from above (James 3:17 ) which is “pure, peaceable, easily entreated, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality, without hypocrisy”

When leaders submit to what God really wants, they trade short-term rewards for the long-term fruit of souls won and lives transformed — the kind of work that pleases God and lasts into eternity.

1. Walk Worthy of the Calling(Ephesians 4:1–3)

Ephesians 4:1-3 are Apostle Paul’s office instructions..a  “how to” (note that: it requires ongoing training and fortitude, and each of our ‘work”) yet it pleases the Father, and prepares the Bible yielded Christian area community “landscape” (fragrant or not)

“Walk worthy… with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

A leader’s calling is a pathway of humility, not a pedestal.

  • Lowliness — valuing others above oneself.

  • Meekness — choosing gentleness over control.

  • Longsuffering — enduring offense without retaliation.

  • Forbearance in love — giving space for growth and grace.

Unity is a bond of peace — turf-guarding destroys this peace.

2. One Body, One Spirit, One Hope(Ephesians 4:4–6)

“There is one body, and one Spirit… One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all…”

God’s vision is one body — not divided by denomination, turf, special club, ethnicity, economy, or brand. Every believer belongs equally.

3. Leadership Gifts Are Functions, Not Thrones(Ephesians 4:7–13)

“He gave some, apostles… prophets… evangelists… pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…”

Fivefold gifts serve others (we don’t worship the little g “god” of traditional pecking order)

  • Apostles — pioneer and oversee

  • Prophets — bring God’s heart and correction

  • Evangelists — proclaim Christ to the lost

  • Pastors — shepherd the flock

  • Teachers — ground in truth

The goal is not recognition “our acclaim” but “humbly pleasing God” which is in Ephesians 4 “offices unified in the faith.. for the “perfecting the saints”. Leaders must lay down SELF, all power games, brand wars, and income-first thinking for kingdom fruitfulness. This is not the hour for a Demas apostle, prophet, teacher, pastor or witnessing soul winner, leader or lay.

4. Maturity in Love, Not Bearing Titles, Power,  Manipulation(Ephesians 4:14–16)

“…that we henceforth be no more children… but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ…”

Maturity is not in numbers or budgets but in Christlikeness respecting “holy fear of the Lord” and modest fruit..for building others, and guarding unity. Christ alone is Head

Eternal Perspective

In eternity, the Lord will not ask how many titles we held or how much revenue we generated, but how faithfully we built His Body, protected unity, and valued souls above self.

For Teachers:

A Ephesians 4 Leadership & Unity Teaching Outline

Intro Theme:
Ephesians 4 is God’s blueprint for functional, servant-hearted leadership — not title-driven control. Its purpose is unity, maturity, and eternal fruit

1. Walk Worthy of the Calling(Ephesians 4:1–3)

Scripture:

“Walk worthy… with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

Teaching Points:

  • Leadership is a pathway of humility, not a pedestal.

  • Lowliness — value others above yourself.

  • Meekness — choose gentleness over control.

  • Longsuffering — endure without bitterness.

  • Forbearance in love — create space for others to grow.

  • Unity is protected by peace, destroyed by turf-guarding.

2. Know The Common Doctrines: One Body, One Spirit, One Hope(Ephesians 4:4–6)

Scripture:

“There is one body, and one Spirit… One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all…”

Teaching Points:

  • All believers are equally part of the one body.

  • No room for denominational elitism, classism, racism, or ministry competition.

  • Leaders must actively dismantle man-made walls.

this gets right into the heart of Ephesians 4:4–6 and what Paul was really saying about the “common doctrine” of the early church. Let’s unpack it deeply in context of the First Church (Acts onward), the pluralistic Greco-Roman world, and its meaning for us today.

The First Church “Common Doctrines” Passage (KJV)

Ephesians 4:4–6

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

1. Purpose of the Common Doctrine

Paul was writing to a diverse church in Ephesus, a city filled with temples, false gods, Caesar-worship, and philosophies. Believers came from Jewish and Gentile backgrounds—some steeped in pagan cults, others in Mosaic law. The “common doctrine” was not a checklist of legalisms but a unifying declaration of allegiance:

  • To anchor believers in Christ alone (not many gods, not Caesar, not philosophies).

  • To guard against division (Jew vs. Gentile, circumcised vs. uncircumcised, free vs. slave).

  • To establish markers of true Christian identity—not cultural traditions, but spiritual reality.

2. Breaking Down the Phrases

+ One Body

  • The Church = the unified community of believers in Christ, Jew and Gentile alike (Eph. 2:14–16).

  • Not multiple sects or cults, but one new humanity under Christ.

  • A true believer was one who recognized themselves as part of this new organism—not a divided faction.

+ One Spirit

  • The Holy Spirit is the life-breath of the Church.

  • This marked the difference between dead religion and the living body of Christ.

  • Pagan religions had many “spirits” and mystery rites, but Paul insists there is only one Spirit who gives true life.

+ One Hope of Your Calling

  • Eternal life through Christ, not through idols, emperor worship, or philosophy.

  • In a pluralistic society, each cult had its own “path to hope.” Paul: only one hope is real—resurrection in Christ.

+ One Lord (Jesus Christ)

  • Countercultural and even dangerous politically:

    • Romans said: “Caesar is Lord.”

    • Christians declared: “Jesus is Lord” (Phil. 2:11, Rom. 10:9).

  • This was the dividing line of true faith.

  • A true believer acknowledged Jesus as Lord above all human rulers, idols, and gods.

+ One Faith

  • Faith = the body of truth concerning Christ (Jude 3).

  • Not Judaism, not paganism, not Gnosticism.

  • Exclusivity: Christianity was not “one of many.” There was only one true faith—the gospel of Jesus Christ.

+ One Baptism

  • Water baptism by immersion symbolized:

    1. Death, burial, resurrection with Christ (Rom. 6:3–4).

    2. A public break from old life, idols, or legalistic Judaism.

    3. An entry marker into the one body (1 Cor. 12:13).

  • In a world with countless initiations and ritual washings, this was one distinct initiation into Christ alone.

+ One God and Father of All

  • The Shema of Israel (“The LORD our God is one LORD” – Deut. 6:4), now revealed in Christ.

  • He is above all (supreme), through all (sovereign), and in you all (personal, indwelling through the Spirit).

  • Distinct from polytheism (many gods ruling parts of life).

3. Were These Legalisms?

No—Paul presents them as confessions of unity, not rules for exclusion.

  • They are identity markers, not performance checklists.

  • Legalism = trusting works, ceremonies, or human traditions for salvation.

  • This “common doctrine” = trusting God’s revelation in Christ.

  • But—they also did serve to distinguish true believers from false ones:

    • If you denied Jesus as Lord → you were not in the “one faith.”

    • If you clung to multiple gods → you were not in the “one God and Father.”

So yes—it did identify true vs. false believers, but not by man-made law; by allegiance to Christ.

4. Standing Out in the Ancient World

  • Paganism: many gods, many cults, many initiations → Christianity: ONE.

  • Emperor worship: Caesar is lord → Christianity: JESUS is Lord.

  • Philosophy: many paths to truth → Christianity: one faith, one hope.

  • Mystery religions: endless baptisms/rites → Christianity: one baptism.

  • Polytheism: multiple deities controlling life → Christianity: one Father over all.

This was radically countercultural—and often got Christians persecuted.

5. Application Today

  • We live in a new pluralistic society: relativism, “all paths lead to God,” self-made spirituality.

  • The common doctrine still unites true believers in Christ worldwide.

  • It’s not a denominational creed but a shared confession of allegiance to Jesus.

  • True believers today still stand out by holding to these truths, even when unpopular or politically incorrect.

Common Doctrines In Summary:
The “common doctrine” of Ephesians 4 was not legalism—it was a unifying creed of the early church that identified true believers, separated them from false religion, and anchored them in Christ. It stood out starkly in the pluralistic Roman world and still does today.

Scripture:

“He gave some, apostles… prophets… evangelists… pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…”
