  • Show clips of ministers such as Benny Hinn praying in the Spirit, laying hands on attendees, or leading people who fall under the Spirit’s power.

  • Highlight instances of Paula White or Kenneth Copeland praying in tongues publicly.(very loudly and with force)

  • Label such ministries as “false,” often for profit or notoriety. “Bash for Cash” My Nickname for these (add Joel Osteen in this for the “making money” never ending reviling, attacks)

While discernment is essential, Scripture warns against public ridicule of Spirit-led ministries, which risks blaspheming the Holy Spirit (Ματθαῖος 12:31–32) and damaging the unity of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:21–26).

  • Even when motives are flawed, Christ is still proclaimed.

  • Our response should be joy, not ridicule.

  • Discernment balances caution with celebrating God’s work in the Body.

  • POINT: this is hope for the TRUE Believer but possible PERIL for ones mistakenly(never been trained or are born again reprobate, toxic) who may “blaspheme God’s Holy Spirit”

    1. Discern wisely: Study Scripture, observe relationally, evaluate fruit rather than style, tone, loudness,high falutin or low level looks /plus any  drama.

    2. Correct PRIVATELY (Bible Protocal Point) Follow Matthew 18:15–16 to avoid public damage.

    3. Respect diversity of gifts: Tongues, prophecy, healing, and Spirit-led expressions are all valid.

    4. Rejoice in Christ being preached: Even if the messenger is flawed, the eternal impact belongs to God.

    5. Avoid online mockery: Do not contribute to public blasphemy or division for fame, profit, or entertainment.

  • Correct discernment of the Body prevents quenching the Spirit and mislabeling genuine ministry.

  • Online mockery combined with failing to discern the Body increases blasphemy risk and damages unity.

     

  • Breeds ministry /anti Christ murderous doubt, unbelief also chief  cynicism, accusing prejudice against ALL Christian, ALL Spirit baptized

  • This is MY TD ASIDE: Who wants to give an account to the Lord on Judgment Day for this?

    These online videos are slick, well-produced, and highly edited to look expensive — all designed to lure in itching ears.

    This genre of online attacks and mockery — the “TMZ-style tabloid expose” — seems primarily motivated by money. It continuously accuses, deeply reviles, and makes fun of those who operate in the Spirit.

    Worse, it creates copycats: modern skeptical youth, YouTubers, social media influencers, and even local fellow Christians may imitate this behavior. The result is more blaspheming of the Holy Spirit, and sadly, many could risk eternal loss due to this attention-seeking, fame-driven, false genre.

Proper discernment, public accountability, and rejoicing in Christ form a threefold safeguard:

  • Protects against blaspheming the Holy Spirit

  • Preserves the unity of the Body of Christ

  • Ensures focus remains on gospel advancement rather than human critique
