I mostly HONOR THOSE AT THE TOP (as I not know them personally OR their bookkeeping)  and regard with respect those movements from the 19980’s one.for I realize how hard it has been. Yet, due this I shy away mainly from those at the bottom local level with with a holy fear and great big concern.

The Gospel Was Given to the Ignorant and Untrained

This article is a deep dive into the First Church—not as a concept or denomination, but as it truly was: a living, breathing, mutually submitted community birthed by the Holy Spirit. It is written with clarity for modern believers, with reverence for scripture in the original Greek and Hebrew, and with real-life application through the life experience of this author, Taveau D’Arcy, a senior, seasoned woman minister called by the Lord at a young age, now with 70 years in the Body of Christ. II. The First Church: Foundation and Function

 The Real First Church

Born out of Acts 2: The Holy Spirit fell on all who waited.

The Church was multi-ethnic, Spirit-led, without celebrity leadership.

They were under Roman oppression yet functioned as a counterculture of love, order, and power.

 Structure:

No building-based religion; they met in homes, public forums, and marketplaces.

Leadership was plural, cooperative (Acts 13:1-3; Gal. 1:2), and Spirit-appointed, not man-ordained.

III. Biblical Texts in Depth

Galatians 1:1-2

“Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ…) and all the brethren which are with me…”

ou̓k ἀπ’ ἀνθρῳπων – “not from men”

alla dia Iēsou Christou – “but through Jesus Christ”

Insight:Paul was a God-called office minister, accountable to God, not man. Yet he traveled with “all the brethren”, showing shared community. (TD note: they lived in the Middle East, not America, were used to real Asians, Africans ,Greek, Arabs, Romans, slaves and masters, the popular culture.

Acts 17:17

Insight: Paul’s ministry was relational, not dictatorial or commanding, authoritarian.. and public-facing, not hidden in the church building. He flowed freely across (many types of  religions), plus culture, and business.

Hypotassomenoi – Willing submission for mutual harmony

En phobō Theou – In reverent awe of God, not fear of man

MAIN POINT

Insight:The entire body of believers—leaders and laypeople—walked in mutual respect, not hierarchy or celebrity dominance.

IV. A True Called Senior Minister Can Function in All Areas

A true God-called senior office Christian (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher) may function in:

Church Leadership: Like Paul (Gal. 1:1), not self-appointed but God-appointed.

Marketplace Engagement: Like Paul in Acts 17, speaking wisely in business and society.

Fellowship: In daily mutual submission, not spiritual superiority.

Correction & Counseling: As in Matthew 18 and Galatians 6:1—restoring with meekness, not shaming.

Doctrine Guarding: As in Acts 2:42 and 1 Tim. 4:16—grounded and scriptural.

++ Please Note:  When such a minister is marginalized, especially by a system, they may resemble the situation in 1 Corinthians 7:15 — “if the unbelieving depart, let them depart...” The Lord allows peace over forced entrapment.
