**Be aware this might Really TROUBLE the Well Off Christian Patriarchy”
For the Body of Christ in need of where-withall
First: For those who measure by “types,” I am now fully aware of this and have studied YOU and YOUR cultish doctrine. Let it be made known to all—I am a MAVEN, not a matriarch and certainly not a “We-Centric Patrician Levitical Matriarch.”
That said, I recognize that I come from that background (mother’s side)—it appears that in alternate generations, parts of my own family leaned toward a more LP business-minded side. While I may have inherited the look, I choose instead to walk in the ways of my down-to-earth, diverse, and relaxed senior pastor roots Father’s non clubby, more relaxed roots —which I also deeply revere and try to Hero Role Model..he was not into ‘fault finding, continually free from all accusation, mean spirit and religious/racial, social bias…and foremost, he was all “types’ fully respecting, accepting as well as most all of the time approachable.
In this ministry, I define myself as a MAVEN—a connoisseur of Christian theology.

Now we begin:…And I have never been, nor am I now, an adamant pro-women’s senior office leader or pastor advocate. In fact, I used to hold quite the opposite view. Let it be made clear to mature men and women alike that this woman has never had a “women’s libber” or suffragette bone in her body.
Looking back, I realize I was fully respected, valued, and cherished by both my parents. My father, a senior pastor in the Southern Baptist tradition and a seminary graduate, was neither a Levitical Patriarchism nor an authoritarian. He was a wise, joyful scholar and a devoted family man.
However, as I stepped into the charismatic movement, I found myself free from legalistic mindsets about my own role. I simply told the Lord, “Whatever You want me to become and do, I will.” And from that point, I began to endure deep and lasting hardships—many of which, if not all, came at the hands of ambitious, controlling, money-motivated men. Some were in my personal life, while many others were in senior ministry positions.
Even then, I remained reticent, not fully understanding how God was setting me free to be and do as He willed. Over time, I had to be delivered from people-pleasing and from the acquired fear of overstepping my boundaries as a leader, a woman, and a person—especially within the religious churches. Now, I clearly see how this “seer shepherding submission” legalism has taken hold across the USA and in foreign nations, disguised as “fellowship with the saints.” But at its core, it is the WELP-driven, Big Boss, controlling law.
Internally, I have struggled with fear—fear of displeasing God’s people, fear of stepping outside of tradition—but now, with age and wisdom, I face my fears head-on. I worship the Lord, study the Bible for myself, and choose to submit to and please only HIM. At the same time, I maintain a healthy balance, choosing to respect all people—even if they do not respect this sister.
However, as I matured and was sent to study primarily worshiping big subcultures, many of them called themselves “prophets” and “chief apostles,” along with their followers. This was during a time when many were becoming devout fans of famous prophets, teachers, and gifted apostles. A wannabe spirit began to surface, and I found myself being singled out in large (white) crowds of these individuals—what I later named their “Seer Deep Scanners” and “Accuser Witch Watchers” or “Jezebel Spiers.”
This happened repeatedly—but only when I attended a church, a conference alone, or approached to introduce myself or greet a famous top WELP (in hindsight, a well-known figure). A spirit of demonic accusation, witch-watching, and suspicion would arise. I would see the startled, frowning expressions—the “deer in the headlights” look, signaling me to back off. This startled me because I had never been raised around anything like this in Christian ministry.
Prior to this, I had been raised in a respectful, man-and-woman-honoring Christian ministry culture. I had been invited to and attended many cross-denominational and cross-racial Christian gatherings—senior pastors, nonprofit leaders, and ministry heads within EORR. These leaders, whether tongue-speaking or not, urban or suburban, were mostly humble servant leaders. None of them had a Big I, Little You mentality, nor did they see themselves or others as THE famous celebrity.
Now, I warn against this and train others to recognize it. However, let me clarify—not all famous, well-known Christian ministers or groups behave this way. The ones who do tend to be from what I now call old-timey mentor Levitical Patriarchism (LP)—a system that, while it has many hardworking, good, and great qualities, also carries misogyny, cult-like control, a deeply entrenched respecter-of-persons attitude, and triggered dominance.
I will not fellowship among these unless and until they remove these hindrances and operate in genuine love—not in deep scanning, dominance, and false discernment.
I have been repeatedly defiled by attending one doctrinal style—the LP white, backbiting, 2 Timothy 3:1-8 crowd, the 1 Timothy 6:5 type, of which Paul admonishes:
“From such withdraw thyself.” (1 Timothy 6:5, KJV)
These groups fail to align with the fruit of the Holy Spirit, which is described in Galatians 5:22-23:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23, KJV)
Instead of engaging in respectful biblical correction, they operate in false accusation and spiritual paranoia, rather than following Galatians 6:1:
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1, KJV)
If there is a real issue, they should follow Matthew 18:15:
“Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.” (Matthew 18:15, KJV)
This is how we are to model true community, as seen in Ephesians 4.
Furthermore, I now recognize that some of these self-appointed “Seer Deep Scanners” operate more in the fear-based, suspicious mindset of the king’s paranoid informants in 2 Kings 6:12 rather than in the purity of God’s wisdom, as described in James 3:17:
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” (James 3:17, KJV)
True Christian leadership and fellowship must abide in the light, as written in 1 John 1:7:
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7, KJV)
We are called to discern by the Spirit and abide in God’s love, not in man-made hierarchies, suspicion, or legalism. Hence, I move forward, choosing to walk in true biblical community and not under the bondage of the WELP system.
Be Blessed!
Sincerely and in His Best Peace,
Sister Taveau D’Arcy
