I had lived in Plano, Murphy during much that time, I relocated to more peaceful Mc Kinney where I joined the MOST MARVELOUS Health Club ,founded the Christian gentleman, Medical Doctor who invented aerobics. The Fall of Man: A Closer Look at the Interactions in Genesis 3

In Genesis 3, the serpent, described as more cunning than any other beast of the field, approaches Eve with a deceptive question: “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (Genesis 3:1).

This subtle twist on God’s command plants doubt in Eve’s mind. The serpent challenges God’s word and authority, suggesting that disobedience will not lead to death but rather to enlightenment—“You will be like God, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5).

Main Point:Eve, tempted by the promise of wisdom and drawn to the tree’s appeal, eats the fruit and gives it to Adam, who also partakes without hesitation.( He willfully partakes, he is not deceived, THE REASON I point to this: All the leader women get accused of being the fault of ever flaw, fault , sin, of being seductive, too painted, etc way back to this (“the little women made me” just like Adam in Genesis 3)…the  historical “Christian subculture thought is  “beware those easily deceived, intrusive, seductive , untrustworthy “lesser’ witchy women (the big boss country Law, LP patriarchy stereotypes ..are rooted way back in Genesis 2 before Eve was formed, Creator God had told Adam (by himself) to not each of that one Specific Tree. “the knowledge of Good and Evil”) And also what I have named in the American old timey Christian culture “The Mountain William School of Theology” superstition, lore, rumors, anti woman big inherited major accuser stereotypes.

POINT: We note how God’s tone is not harsh or condemning but relational, guiding Adam into self-examination rather than issuing immediate judgment.And I want to remind the reader of the giant over view perspective in this scene: God knew what we know now, what we are standing in, and that God only wanted 100% joy, peace, fun ,provision family and wholeness, no pain, war. But the man Adam ruined God’s plan and it let sin, defeat, sorrow and more into earth’s real life many realms.

So when God’s Adam, where are you? It appears that God is acting like a great parent (calm, respecting, patient); he is giving his boy time to ‘rise up, man up and confess. Perhaps Adam could had admitted it, like this” “Yes God, Eve was deceived and ate the fruit, And I ate it also ..so please us both..But that did not happen.

However, instead of confessing, Adam shifts blame: “The woman You put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it” (Genesis 3:12). Adam’s response reflects multiple layers of avoidance. First, he indirectly blames God—“the woman You gave me.” (Taveau’s POINT: he starts to resemble the Master he chose: THE ACCUSER of the sisteren, motheren)

Then, he deflects responsibility onto Eve, failing to admit his own choice in the matter. This moment exposes a fracture in their relationship; instead of unity and mutual respect, Adam distances himself from his wife in an effort to justify himself. Eve, in turn, follows the same pattern, blaming the serpent: “The serpent deceived me, and I ate” (Genesis 3:13). Both Adam and Eve demonstrate a common human reaction to sin—defensiveness, denial, and an attempt to shift responsibility rather than honest repentance.

God’s confrontation is measured and just. He does not react in anger but addresses each participant in the order of their involvement—the serpent first, then Eve, then Adam.

To the serpent, God issues a direct curse, establishing hostility between its offspring and the woman’s offspring, foretelling the eventual victory of Christ over Satan (Genesis 3:15). To Eve, He explains the consequences of her choice: increased pain in childbirth and a dynamic shift in her relationship with Adam, where he will “rule over” her (Genesis 3:16)—a direct contrast to their previous equality and harmony. Finally, God addresses Adam, holding him accountable for heeding his wife over God’s command. The ground is cursed because of him, and toil and hardship enter human labor and existence (Genesis 3:17-19).

The narrative of Genesis 3 reveals significant relational dynamics—between humanity and God, between man and woman, and even within self-awareness. Adam’s deflection of responsibility strains his bond with Eve, introducing conflict where there was once partnership. Their mutual blame reflects the broader human struggle with accountability. God’s response, while firm, is not vengeful—He provides coverings for their nakedness (Genesis 3:21), symbolizing both His justice and His mercy. Ultimately, this chapter sets the stage for the unfolding story of redemption, as God does not abandon humanity but begins the process of restoration through His divine plan.

1. Adam and Eve: Who Did God Hold Accountable?

In Genesis 3:9, after Adam and Eve sinned, the first thing God did was call out:

“Adam, where art thou?”

• POINT: This is significant. Though Eve had eaten the fruit first (Genesis 3:6), God did not address her first. He went directly to Adam.

Why?

• TD’S POINT: Adam Received the Command First – In Genesis 2:16-17, before Eve was even created, God commanded Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
• Eve was not yet formed; she only later received the command secondhand, likely through Adam.

• TD MAKING BIG POINTS:
• Before disobeying God’s specific command, Adam had been the HOH (Head of Home, Earthly Plane)First Leader in the Garden,
• And (also happily Ever After, Head of the Endless Solar System(should he have not willfully chosen to eat the fruit) –
• Adam was entrusted with the responsibility of tending and keeping the garden (Genesis 2:15), which included spiritual leadership. This was not about domination, but stewardship.
• Eve was the HOP (Head of Planet) governor’s wife and co-labored, made decisions, co-ruled over all they surveyed, bright, energetic, successful and deeply intelligent,  …(also co govern with Adam for ever had  they not transgressed
• BIG DETERMINING POINT
  Eve Was Deceived, Adam Willfully Disobeyed – 1 Timothy 2:14 explains that “Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” However, this does not mean Eve bore greater guilt.
• She was tricked, but Adam knowingly and willingly sinned.
• TD’S BIG POINT: The fact that God called Adam first therefore God went directly to him and held him personally responsible (in chain of command order) Also out of respect for Adam’s relationship with God.
• POINT: This  affirmed  a leadership principle: the one entrusted with direct instruction is held to the highest standard. Adam was not ‘beguiled by Eve” nor was he an innocent bystander. He was the head of all authority and God held him accountable,for it ‘happened on HIS WATCH.
• MINISTRY POINT: This refutes the centuries-old view that “women are the cause of sin” “are less than” “easily led” “easy to fool” and “weaker, more stupid, easily beguiled, then all men.
  (Sorry to say it but there are many huge cultures within these churches..not all, but some or many.

MAKING A POINT:Sin is “every sort of human” life long problem, yet not “just one class” problem, or race problem, or gender-specific problem

“For all have fallen short of God’s glory”.

TD REHASHS THE GENESIS 3 SCENE:

POINT: While Eve was deceived (1 Timothy 2:14), it’s important to note that deception does not equal rebellion. She did not seek to defy God—she was misled.

POINT:  Adam’s Choice: Willful Disobedience Over Pleasing God

After Eve ate the fruit, she gave it to Adam (Genesis 3:6). This moment is key.

• Adam was not deceived (1 Timothy 2:14).
• He knew God’s command firsthand yet ate the fruit willfully.
• He chose to please his wife rather than obey God.

TD MAKES THIS POINT: Had Adam taken a stand and said, “No, Eve, we must go to God and seek His mercy,” the course of history could have been different. Instead, he joined her in sin.

This shows that Adam’s failure was not just eating the fruit(disrespecting, rebellion against what God had told him) —but it was in failing to lead (Bible says “Adam was guilty of pleasing his  wife, rather than GOD  who made him..

MAIN POINT. God’s Response: “Adam, Where Are You?”

POINTS: METHODOLOGY, CHARACTER, TONE

When God walked in the garden, He did not say, “Eve, where are you?” Instead, He called out to Adam (Genesis 3:9).

• God honored Adam’s leadership role by addressing him first.
• This was not about male superiority but about accountability.
• Adam blamed Eve and God instead of repenting (Genesis 3:12).

Had Adam responded differently—“Lord, I have sinned, Eve has sinned, forgive us”—God might have shown mercy in that moment. But Adam refused to take responsibility, and as a result, both suffered the consequences.

This section  points to a deeper biblical principle: both men and women are tested by sudden sin, yet God holds them responsible for their choices, yet he does not berated, demean or belittle, or rage… rather Father God ‘one to one confronts, hold, them, us accountable, yet with respect and calm genuine authority

POINT: True leadership is about accountability, not domination.

POINT This reframes Adam and Eve’s story not as a tale of female failure, but as a lesson in the weight of leadership responsibility—one that applies to men and women alike.
